DTF Heat Press Instructions

Heat: 300-325F for cotton & blends; 270-290F for polyester.
Pressure: Medium-Firm or Firm.

Instructions:

1. Pre-press garment for 8-10 seconds to remove moisture and to ensure a flat, wrinkle-free pressing surface.
2. Press transfer onto apparel 10-15 seconds. (We always use a teflon paper as a buffer between the platen and the transfer - either a single sheet placed between the transfer and platen or a wrap attached to the platen.)
3. Wait 30 seconds to peel with cold peel. Wait 5-10 seconds to peel with hot peel.
4. We recommend doing a final press with teflon paper (to achieve glossy results) or parchment paper (to achieve matte results).
